Abstract: In this paper the authors normalized the position of repeated earthquakes by using ray tracing, in order to improve the accuracy of seismic wave travel time to measure crustal media variation with time. The author also calculated the travel time of Yangjiang repeated earthquakes (ML≥2.0)from Jonuary 2002 to september 2007 by using ray tracing. The results indicate the short-term velocity variation of crustal media appears before Yangjiang M=4.9 earthquake in 2004.
