Abstract: Studied the geoelectric and geomagnetic data observed at the Songshan station before and after the Yongdeng MS5.8 earthquake of 1995, the Minle-Shandan MS6.1 earthquake of 2003 and the Tianzhu west MS5.4 earthquake of 1996, the results show that the imminent geoelectric and geomagnetic information associated with the first two earthquakes are expressed as the waveform distortion, the short period disturbance and the prominent spectrum changes. Besides, the mechanism of the imminent precursor information and the reason why no anomaly appears before the Tianzhu west earthquake are explained. The research results in the paper will play an important role in the future building of the seismic geoelectric and magnetic station.
