Abstract: By checking the geo-electrical resistivity of the Gaoyou seismic station in July 2017, it was found that lightning protection grounding wires of high voltage poles were installed near the edge of the survey area, and the lightning protection grounding wires were connected with each other. Taking the grounding line as a buried metal conductor, the theoretical interference amplitude and the actual interference amplitude are compared by using the formula of the good conductor to the potential distribution. The results show that the existence of the grounding wires changed the original electrical structure of the survey area, with a low resistance band being formed and the distribution of artificial electric field changed, which results in low values of earth resistivity in EW and NE directions.
