The Achievement and Application of Automatic Test Instrument in the Geoelectric Resistivity Observation System

Abstract: Geoelectric resistivity observation system is composed of measurement system and out-lines system. It needs an artificial method to test geoelectric resistivity observation system in the daily work. The process is time-consuming and laborious. The test results may be influenced by meteorologic and human factors. Studying on the automation testing method in measuring accuracy and stability in geoelectric resistivity observation system, we develop an automatic testing instrument of geoelectric resistivity observation system, based on single-chip microcomputer control technology. It is labor-saving to test geoelectric resistivity observation system with the instrument in seismic station, but also can pass the national standard to observation station, ensuring the credibility and scientificity of measuring values. After a long-term operation on station, the result shows that the automatic testing instrument worked reliably and steadily, which can meet the requirement of automatic testing geoelectric resistivity observation system in seismic station.
