Abstract: Based on coseismic response of water level in Well Lu07 from January 1, 2023 to January 1, 2024 caused by remote strong earthquakes, the morphology and spectral characteristics of hydroseismic waves and seismic waves were compared and analyzed, the correlation coefficient was measured by the crossed wavelet transform and the wavelet coherence function. The results show: the variation, amplitude and spectral characteristics of hydroseismic waves in Well Lu07 have a good correspondence with the seismic waves; the significant amplitude of the hydroseismic wave is mainly affected by the Rayleigh wave; in the maximum amplitude region, the resonance relationship is the most significant, and the correlation is the best; the composition of seismic waves that causing hydroseismic waves is not fixed, P wave or S wave, depending on the velocity of ground displacement caused by seismic waves; seismic energy density is only a necessary condition for the generation of hydroseismic waves, and the response degree of the hydroseismic wave does not increase with the increase of seismic energy density necessarily; the response degree of the hydroseismic wave to the different periodic components of seismic wave varies, the closer to the vibration period of the Rayleigh wave, the higher the response degree of the hydroseismic wave to the seismic wave in Well Lu07; seismic waves can improve the permeability of the aquifer, making it easier for hydroseismic waves responding to variations in seismic waves, and increasing the correlation coefficient.
