Abstract: at present paper, the present situation, existing problems and the future development of Chinese journals related to earthquake are discussed, and the editorial reform of these journals is proposed. Authors suggested that 5 countermeasures should be taken: created band of journals; electronic (internet) edition; disciplinary developing strategy; discipline structure; strengthening editorial board.
