Abstract: At the same observation site, telluric observation will be interfered by the electric current in measuring the apparent resistivity, which appears in the waveform of square impulse, especially when the sampling rate is 1 sampling/second in telluric observation. The interference can not be easily removed. This paper introduced how to use the so-called “Adaptive Self Noise Canceller” in the digital signal processing to deal with telluric data with this kind of interference. The numerical modeling and actual data processing indicate that this method is promising in getting rid of the interference with greatly increasing the signal-to-noise ratio in the telluric data analysis.
