Abstract: In this paper, the software Doqzh for loading the earthquake precursory observational data into database is introduced, including its function, processing procedure, working mode, error processing, working parameter files, and the format of observation log files, which supports the files. Doqzh can process several types of earthquake precursory observational data, and it optimizes the loading operation, thus improving the overall performance greatly. The entire procedure of data loading operation is completely automated, including linking to database server, linking to FTP server and downloading data files, file backup, uncompressing file cabinets, loading data into database, collecting statistic information, and exiting the program. Doqzh is the core software in the data processing system of National Earthquake Precursor Network Center, and it is now running in National Earthquake Precursor Network Center and many Provincial Earthquake Precursor Network Centers, and good results are achieved. It plays a key role in concentration and sharing for national earthquake precursory observational data.
