Abstract: By means of three-component geomagnetic surveying, the processing and analyzing of data in the juncture region of Jiangsu-Shandong-Henan-Anhui provinces and the South Yellow Sea region, surface spline models for total intensity and horizontal intensity of the geomagnetic field and geomagnetic anomaly field are calculated, and the corresponding geomagnetic field charts and geomagnetic anomaly charts are drawn. Characteristics of variation in regional geomagnetic field are researched. The study shows that three-component geomagnetic survey can not only deliberately describe space distribution of geomagnetic field but also provide scientific data and background field for earthquake prediction.
