Abstract: Strain changes of the main faults in Huabei region co-deformed from the 2011 Japan 9.0 earthquake are analysed in this paper. Combined with recently deformation anomalies analysed the characteristics of deformation change of the Huabei region before and after Japan 9.0 earthquake, discussed the impact on the earthquake trend in Huabei region and other future concern areas. The results show that EW compressive strain of Huabei region were partly released during Japan 9.0 earthquake, and co-deformation responses differed in different regions. Some deformation trends have turned back after the earthquake. Recent phenomenon near the middle-south segment of the Tanlu Fault should be of concern, where compressive deformation background and fault activity level have increased.
