Abstract: The forward formula of gravity anomaly for arbitrary polyhedron have been widely used to forward simulate complex geometrical geologic bodies. In this paper, we modeled the gravity anomaly of any complex continuous spatial bodies through parallel simulation in MPICH environment. Taking the tetrahedron as a unit, which is called the cell discretization in finite element method, we calculated the anomaly based on the forward formula of uniform polyhedron. The computing time of forward simulation has been reduced by the parallel procedure in our study.
