Abstract: During borehole strain observation, anisotropy of solid-tidal strain was discovered, which was probably related to faults near the station. Based on this, we carried out a simulation study, and discussed how weak faults influence tidal-deformation propagation. During our research, we found out that week faults could cause this anisotropy observed. At the same time, we found out that the changing of anisotropy was sensitive to the elastic property change of the fault zones. Anisotropy change observed before earthquake might due to the property change of the faults.
