Abstract: In order to predict the tendency of earthquake activity, the seismic activity anomaly and precursory anomaly are respectively calculated by using Expert System for Earthquake Prediction 3.0 and expected to provide certain reference. 82 items of anomalies in 2005 and 98 items of anomalies in 2006, including the seismic activity, crustal deformation, electromagnetism and ground water, are used in calculation. The outcomes of medium-term earthquake probability prediction for 2006 and 2007 are respectively identical with majority of earthquakes (M≥5) in 2006 and 2007. Therefore, the Expert System for Earthquake Prediction may provide the reference for earthquake location prediction in annual consultation.
