Abstract: In this paper, the small earthquake activity and its bands occurred in the Capital Circle Region in 2001 were studied. There was the ordered distribution of weak seismicity before 6 moderate earthquakes. After the band of the M12. O~ 3. 0 small earthquakes formed, the probability of occurrence of moderate earthquakes was bigger. But the band length and lasting time has not shown more relationship with the earthquake magnitude. All the features could provide some references to routine analysis and prediction.
