新疆天山地区定点形变群体异常特征与地震活动

Abstract

Abstract: The relation between the time-space distribution and grouping characteristics of the fixed point deformation anomaly as well as the activity of moderately strong earth-quakes in Tianshan region in 1990~ 2000 was studied by using deformation anomaly densi-ty defined in the paper and trend analysis method. It is thought that the highdensity anomaly observed inevery sub-area has a certain relation with value b in time and a good correspondence to the activity of moderately strong earthquakes in the area; the turning and accelerating deformation variations of long-term trend can be observed in 2-4 years be-fore a group of moderately strong earthquakes.
