Study on seismicity in Sichuan-Yunnan region forrecent years using SLC analysis method

Abstract: Single-link Cluster (SLC) method is a useful tool in analyzing the seismicity. Basedon time sliding calculation of SLC characteristic parameters, this paper analy zes the seismicity pattern and earthquake trend. The fact of earthquake activity forrecent years shows that SLC analysis and SLC characteristic parameters could indicate the feature of earthquake activity, and that they could be adopted in analysison earthquake trend. This paper suggests that the seismicity in this region will be possibly relatively strong.
