OBSERVABLE CRITERION FOR EARTHQUAKE EMERGENCY RESPONSE AND ITS REALIZATION FOR THE EARTHQUAKE PREDICTION

Abstract: The observable criterion for earthquake emergency response—“Social Satisfaction Criterion ” was described in this paper. It presents the original basis for quickly judging the seismic trend by Seismological Bureau of Shanghai when the“Nov. 9”earthquake with Ms 6.1 occurred in the East China Sea area to the east of the Yangtze River Estuary. Good So­cial result was obtained in safeguarding social order and securing economical activity due to the correct trend analysis and judgement with the nature of science and sociology. It may be of significance for reference in the related fields.
