THE APPLICATION OF BP NEURAL NETWORK TO COMPREHENSIVE EARTHQUAKE PREDICTION

Abstract: BP neural network can w ell reflect the nonlinear relation between future earthquake magnitude, occurrence time and various anomalies, because it has strong erfunction of nonliear imaging. BP neural network is applied to the Intelligence Decision Support Sys-tem for Earthquake Prediction. The construction of BP neural network in the system and its application in earthquake prediction is introduced in this paper. The results from test-ing the actual earthquake cases show that the forecasting result is verygood.
