Comparative Analysis of the Variation Characteristics of Geoelectric Storm at Xinyi and Malingshan Seismic Station

Abstract: In this paper, we used the methods of FFT filter residual and time sequence superimposing residual, and combining with geomagnetic field, and analyzed and discuseed the changes of geolectric storm at the two stations Xinyi of Jiangsu and Malingshan of Shandong. We got the following results: ① When the intensity of disturbance is intense in geomagnetic storm, it can be more clearly recorded to the corresponding complete form in geoelectric storm at the two stations. ② During the geomagnetic storm, correspondence decreased obviously between geoelectric field and geomagnetic field, and the change ranges varies in different stations, with different direcation. The variability of anisotropy is obvious. ③ On the whole, the daily range incremental of EY at Xinyi station is more than Malingshan station. We think the cause of gelectric storm may be different for the reasons of the diurnal variation, ground medium structures and fractures, and the different shallowand deep resistivity
