Abstract: Ten earthquakes (ML≥4) occurred in Fujian and its adjacent areas from 2007 to 2009. These frequently occurred moderate earthquakes actually affected the local people's life. It is necessary to strengthen the study of the earthquakes. In this paper, focal mechanism solutions of four earthquakes (ML>4.2) have been calculated by using broadband digital data of Fujian earthquake network and the seismic moment tensor inverse software TDMT_INVC developed by Douglas Dreger of the Berkeley Seismological Laboratory. The results of focal mechanism solutions are analyzed. The focal depths are determined in the inversion.
