Abstract: This paper has collected the temporal and spatial distribution of 421 locatable events including blasting above the level of ML-0.5 from December 2009 to April 2010 by the Dachang mining seismic monitoring network. Base on investigation and analysis of waveform characteristics excluding blasting, this paper studied focal mechanism solutions of the larger magnitude mine earthquakes,as well as the relationship between energy release and frequency statistics of hourly blasting. The result shows that the fault strike is consistent with regional tectonics. Associated with the increasing exploitation quantity of underground mining and the prior rare arid lasting about half an year, the artificial blasting of larger magnitude affected the local stability of tectonic stress field which caused a series of rock-bursts.
