摘要： 概述了2001年2月在四川省雅江县与康定县间发生的MS 5. 0和6. 0地震的基本参数和震源机制,分析了震前区域地震活动特征和中短期观测异常现象,并对雅江6级地震的短临预测问题进行了思考。

Abstract: Basic seismic parameters and results of focal mechanismsolution on MS 6. 0 and MS 5. 0 earthquakes between Yajiang and Kangding counties, Sichuan Province, in February 2001 are briefly described. The medium-and short-term abnormal precursors and seismicity characteristics before these two earthquakes are analyzed. So some thoughts on the short-term and imminent prediction of Yajiang M6. 0 earthquakes are put forward.
