用震源扫描算法(SSA)进行微震的定位

摘要: 引入了一种新的方法震源扫描算法(Source-Scanning Algorithm, SSA)来对地震定位和地震破裂面进行研究, 这种方法充分利用了数字地震波形资料, 在不用精确拾取到时和计算理论地震图的情况下达到比较理想的定位效果。 首先, 文中阐述了2004年由Kao等人发展的SSA方法的原理; 其次对扫描算法的分辨率进行了理论上的模拟, 用5点试验证明了SSA的很强的分辩能力; 最后将SSA应用于南北地震带微震的定位试验中去, 发现它能够在没有人工干预的情况下较好地定出地震的位置。 理论模拟和实际定位结果都证明, SSA是普通微小地震定位的一种好工具。

Abstract: A new method (Source-Scanning Algorithm,SSA) to cope with earthquake location is introduced in this paper. This algorithm can make use of digital waveform data to obtain better location and doesn't need accurately to pick phase arrive time and to calculate theoretical seismograms. At first the paper explains the SSA algorithm developed by Kao et al. Secondly we theoretically simulate the resolution power of SSA by means of 5-point experiment. At last we apply the method to conduct locating test on microseisms along South-north seismic zone in the western part of China. We find that the method can accurately determine the earthquake location. The theoretical simulation and actual location result can all prove that SSA method is a good tool to locate the ordinary small earthquake.
