一种可能的中强地震空间分布方式

摘要: 以华东及邻近地区(29-39°N, 113-124°E)为研究区域,从地震的网络分布特征出发,提出了一种可能的中强地震空间分布方式,即近平行四边形的分布特征。使用二个平行四边形空间交汇的方法,可以预测未来发生地震的空间区域,其面积在1. 5°× 1. 5°的较小范围内。用这一方法对华东及邻近地区1970年以来6次ML ≥ 5. 0地震的空间分布进行了检验。

Abstract: Taking east china and adjacent area (29~39°N, 113~124°E) as the study region, based on the characteristics of seismic network distribution, this paper proposed a conceivable spatial distribution of moderately strong earthquakes, that is, the approximate parallelogram distribution cha racteristics. Using the intersection method of two parallelog rams, we can forecast the spatial region of the coming earthquakes, the area is less than 1. 5°× 1. 5°. We also have made retrospective tests of six ML ≥ 5. 0 earthquakes in East China and adjacent area since 1970, and proved the validity of the method.
