SIMPLIFIED DYNAMICMODEL BASED ON THE CHARACTERISTICS OF CONTINENTAL SEISMICITY——CELL AUTOMATMODEL

Abstract: A simplified dynamic model——cell automat model is proposed according to the principle of cell automat based on the characteristics of continental seismicity and the research results of the non-linear dynamic model which is constituted by a plane network system built by spring—slider—damper. Its evolutional rules are summed up according to the characteristics of continental seismicity and the above no nlinear model. The medium parameters are given by using fractal distribution. A new lybuilt model with alarger system constituted by 30× 40 cells i s used in the paper, and some seismicity characteristics shown in the model are discussed.
