The algorithm principle and main functions of earthquake disaster and loss prediction system

Abstract: Earthquake Disaster and Loss Prediction system (EDLP 1. 0 for windows) is designed to predict the vulnerability and economic losses of one or agroup of buildings by using the probability or deterministic prediction methods.The monomer or group earthquake disaster matrixes of main types of buildings can be also obtained by sampling. The software system can be applied to predict the disaster and loss of buildings caused by potential earthquakes in both city and country areas. The principle of this algorithm and the main functions of the system are briefly introduced in the paper.
