Abstract: The Jinshajiang groundwater observation network is distributed in the Xiangjiaba reservoir and Xiluodu reservoir areas of the Jinshajiang lower reaches, and is composed of 6 wells. The primary observation items are water level and water temperature in well. The MS5. 7 earthquake occurred in Yiliang county, Yunnan province in 7, Sepetmber 2012. Some obvious anomalies of groundwater are shown in 4 wells before the earthquake, and the anomalous curve shapes are marked by drop, the anomalous times are synchronous on the whole, and the anomalous amplitudes are more lager. The corresponding relationship of the anomalies with the earthquake are clear. There are many interfering factors in the behavior of water level and water temperature in well, with precipitation particular stronger, however the above anomalies are shown in such unfavorable conditions. Besides the close distance between the observation wells and the epicenterr, these may also related to the same tectonic zone of observation area with the earthquake preparation area.
