Abstract: In running TCP/IP protocol on satellite communication network, the time delay of satellite links caused by radio wave propagation in space will seriously reduce the transfer speed and communication efficiency of TCP data streams. Choosing proper sending window size of TCP data streams is not able to increase transfer speed of TCP data streams at all. The application of spoofing technology in TCP protocol at gateways of satellite earth stations is able to increase the running efficiency of TCP protocol and transfer speed of data steams on satellite communication network for WAN using satellite links as communication channels. The experimental results are given for TCP running after applying spoofing technology in using TCP/IP protocol also.
