Abstract: Efects of temperature on long-period seismometers and observation data is common and can not be ignored. This paper takes very-broadband seismometer BBVS-120 as the research object. Through the observation experiment and the related research, we get the frequency range and temperature sensitivity parameter of the temperature’s effect on the output signal. We define a parameter of temperature sensitivity and analyse temperature influence on broadband observation data from a quantitative point of view.

Key words: Seismic station observation, very-broadband seismometer, temperature effect, temperature sensitivity parameter
