Design and development of the Qingdao earthquake emergency command decision support software

Abstract: In this paper, the earthquake emergency command decision support software was designed and developed, based on spatial decision support technology. The overall design, module of function, database, interface design, and module integration were researched and developed. This software was practicality applied and tested in Qingdao Earthquake Emergency Command System. The practice indicates that this software can achieve scientific management, providing the real time urban earthquake disaster information, visible emergency commanding decision plan and tracking the development and variation of earthquake disaster and so on. Therefore, the comprehensive efficiency and velocity for urban earthquake emergency are improved evidently, and effectively assistant decision-making instrument was supplied for the urban earthquake emergency work. It provides a demonstration to the construction of urban earthquake emergency command technology system constructing in other cites.
