天山北部强震活动对区域应力扰动的分析以2012年伊犁M6.6地震和2017年精河M6.6地震为例

Analysis of Regional Stress Disturbance Caused by Strong Earthquakes in Northern Tianshan: Taking 2012 Yili M6.6 Earthquake and 2017 Jinghe M6.6 Earthquakes as an Example

摘要: 天山地区为典型地震活跃区, 为定量分析该构造活跃区强震对周边构造变形和地震活动的影响, 本文基于地震位错理论和岩石圈分层模型计算了天山北部近期发生的2012年伊犁和2017年精河两次M6.6地震对周围地壳形变和应力的影响。 计算结果显示伊犁地震和精河M6.6地震引起震中附近地表同震位移达数厘米, 地表同震应变量级约为10-7; 对比天山北部地区年平均构造形变特征, M6.6强震释放了震中附近近十年的构造主压应变积累; 地震引起震中附近(80 km内)同震库仑应力变化大于1 kPa, 而距震中较远区域活动断层上库仑应力变化微弱。 结合天山北部现今地壳变形特征及区域地震分布, 初步推测两次M6.6地震的发生对震后余震有显著的触发作用, 而对区域后续微震活动的影响微弱。

Abstract: In order to explore the influence of Moderate-Strong earthquake on the regional crustal deformation and seismic activity in Tian Shan, we calculated the coseismic and postseismic effects of the Yili MS6.6 earthquake in 2012 and Jinghe MS6.6 earthquake in 2017 on crustal deformation and stress, by adopting the elastic dislocation theory and the layered lithospheric model. The calculated results show that the both the MS6.6 earthquakes lead to coseismic displacement in the magnitude of several centimeters and crustal deformation in the magnitude of 10-7 within 80 km away from the epicenter. Compared with the annual average tectonic deformation characteristics in the northern Tianshan area, the M6.6 earthquakes release the accumulation of tectonic strain of nearly 10 years. The change of regional Coulomb stress is above 1 kPa near the epicenter within 80km, and is slight in the area far away from the epicenter. Combining the tectonic settings and seismic activity after the Jinghe earthquake, we find these two MS6.6 earthquakes have a significant triggering effect on post-earthquake aftershocks near the epicenter, while the influences on regional deformation and seismic activity are comparatively small.
