The EQ3 format of seismic catalogue and its implementation method in SQL Server Database

摘要: 首次正式公开测震学综合应用软件系统中定义的EQ3地震目录格式的数据结构, 介绍了该结构用C语言定义的方式, 并把EQ3格式与目前地震系统内常用的地震目录处理应用格式进行了比较。 EQ3格式是一种二进制格式, 在设计中充分考虑了表示地震震中精定位结果的要求, 多个震级参数共存的方式也与国际上的表示方式相一致。 震源机制解参数与地震基本参数之间的索引联接有效地减少了数据冗余, 同时也为高效的数据处理打下良好的基础。 而且, 文中还详细论述了EQ3格式在SQL Server数据库中存取的实现方法。

Abstract: The data structure of the EQ3 format of seismic catalogue is formally brought into open the first time, which is defined in General Seismic Application System called SuperSeis for short. The definition of the EQ3 format in C program language is introduced, and the comparison of EQ3 and other used formats such as EQT, EQ2 WKF and SHK is made in this paper. The EQ3 format is a binary one, and it is taken into account for meeting the demands of the accurate location results of event epicenters when designed. Moreover, the presentation approach of multi-magnitudes' coexistence is also in accordance with international convention. The index correlation between the parameters of the focal mechanism and the basic ones of earthquakes can effectively reduce the data redundancy and build up foundation of data processing efficiently. Finally, the EQ3 implementation methods in SQL (abbreviation for Structured Query Language) Server Database are discussed in detail.
