科里奥利力效应与昆仑山口西8.1级地震后两侧地震活动的可能关系

Probable relation between Corioli force effect and earthquake activity on two sides of Kunlun Mountain after MS8.1 earthquake

摘要: 根据物理学中科里奥利力原理, 分析了以走滑断层为主的大地震产生的科里奥利力对地震断层两侧邻近地区地震活动的可能影响。结果表明, 在昆仑山口西8.1级地震后东昆仑断裂带南北两侧邻近地区较大地震一般发生在8.1级地震产生的科里奥利力引起的库仑破裂应力增加地区。

Abstract: according to the principle of Corioli force, the probable influence of Corioli force caused by a great earthquake of essential strike-slip fault to earthquake activity in near area on tow sides of the fault is analyzed. The results show that the greater earthquakes on the two sides of eastern Kunlun fault belt after MS 8.1 earthquake generally take place in the area of increased Coulomb failure stress caused by the Corioli force of 8.1 Kunlun mountain earthquake.
